Frederick Douglass The #Suffrage Centennial Celebration in Washington, DC on March 1-3 is Honoring the Women Who Made History. We would like to also show that even in the 1913 Suffrage Procession that men who supported the Suffrage Movement marched with the women down Pennsylvania Avenue. One early male supporter of the Women’s Rights Movement was Frederick Douglass, and even though he died before the 1913 event we are sure that if he had not he would have been right there with our Sisters marching for Suffrage!
